It’s not just a show, but the meeting of two artists, Ulrike Van Cotthem and Emmanuel Pi Djob. From opera and classical music to jazz, soul and gospel classics and original compositions, the singers never fail to surprise us while staying true to the spirit of the music.
Ulrike Van Cotthem is an opera singer with an exceptional timbre. Her crystal clear voice is supported by a proven technique, a sensitivity and a musicality directly touching the hearts of her listeners.
Her open-mindedness on the artistic level has allowed her to participate in various musical projects mixing styles and genres.

In January 2023, the duo expanded and became a quartet with the addition of two other partners, a pair of dancers who also wanted to bring their worlds together:
Gaby Boudes (ABHY STOWN), young Romanian woman, has a background in contemporary and classical aesthetics.
Yohann Martigue (DONKEYZZ DANCERZZ) from Guadeloupe has explored hip-hop, traditional and contemporary dance.
By joining Ulrike Van Cotthem and Emmanuel Pi Djob to accompany them with their steps and gestures, they build further bridges between cultures and people in the show Soul meets Opera.
